When Maryland Lawyers need help Lisa Caplan is there and on Everyday Law with Bob Clark

While the Maryland State Bar Association provides its members a host of different benefits and services, among the most important are those provided by it's Lawyers Assistance Program. The program is run by Lisa Caplan and caters not only to members of the organization but also to their family members, judges, law students and others in the legal community.

Lisa joined by Bob Clark on Howard Community College's Everyday Law and spoke about the broad range of services provided. Obvious categories such as mental health, drug addiction and alcohol were addressed as were more subtle problems such as how to tell a lawyer or judge that they need help. This can be accomplished anonymously.

Lisa has a Masters Degree in Social work from the University of Maryland at Baltmore and comes from  a "legal" family as her father served on the bench. Her contributions to the show and legal community were much appreciated. For a listen go to: https://everydaylaw.podbean.com/e/the-msba/
