Robert V. Clark, Jr. was born on August 19, 1955 in Evanston, Illinois and presently resides in Howard County, Maryland with his wife. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Maryland, College Park, in December of 1976. Thereafter, Mr. Clark received his Juris Doctor degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in December of 1980. He was admitted to the bar in Maryland in May of 1981, and the bar of the District of Columbia in May of 1985. Mr. Clark is admitted to practice before the state and Federal courts of the State of Maryland and the local and Federal courts of the District of Columbia. Additionally, he is admitted to practice before the District of Columbia Court of Appeals, the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court. Mr. Clark is a member of the Maryland State Bar Association, the District of Columbia Bar Association and the Prince George's County Bar Association.
He is a founding member of the Silver Spring Attorney's Association and the International Lawyers Who Lunch.
Mr. Clark has devoted his entire career to trial practice involving personal injury cases and has tried hundreds of cases as well as numerous appeals before the Courts of Appeals of the State of Maryland and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit. In 1996, Mr. Clark was a recipient of the Prince George's County Bar Association Pro Bono Lawyer of the Year award and in the same year was a nominee for the Maryland State Pro Bono Lawyer of the Year. He is a three time recipient of the Prince George's County Pro Bono Service Award. The Law Foundation of Prince George's County awarded Bob its Pro Bono Service award in 2001.
Mr. Clark was for many years been the chairman of The Prince Georges County Bar Association's Tort Law Commitee. In that capacity he has conducted numerous seminars for practicing attorneys and judges in the areas of personal injury and medical malpractice trial work. Additionally, Mr. Clark has appeared on each of the local tv network affiliates concerning cases that were deemed of importance to the community.

Mr. Clark has had the privilege of appearing on WHUR's The Legal Pad with host James E. McCollum, Jr. to discuss legal issues of importance. The Legal Pad is regularly re-broadcast on Sirius XM radio. This in turn has led Mr. Clark to a weekly broadcast of "Everyday Law" from the studios of Howard Community College in Columbia, Maryland. Everyday Law focuses on issues of legal significance to Howard Community College students, employees, faculty and parents. While there have been discussions of areas in which Mr. Clark focuses his practice including medical malpractice, car and truck accidents and civil rights matters, a far more diverse grouping of legal topics have been explored and feature well known attorneys and judges.
After six years and more than one hundred episodes, Everyday Law is on hiatus as of June 2023 although it is probable that it will return at a future date.
Mr. Clark has been recognized as a "Superlawyer" in both Maryland and the District of Columbia. His radio program and podcast have received " Communicator Awards in 2018 and 2019 from the Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts.
Mr. Clark was the 2017 recipient of The Prince George's County Bar Association President's Award for his 19 years of service as the chairman of the Tort Law Committee.
