Mr. Steinhorn and his wife Wendy, a kindergarten teacher, reside in Howard County, Maryland, having raised three daughters who have since left the nest.  Mr. Steinhorn attended the University of Maryland at College Park where he received his undergraduate degree in 1978. He received his J.D. degree from the University of Baltimore School of Law in 1985.  Mr. Steinhorn was a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Robert H. Mason, Associate Judge, Seventh Judicial Circuit for the State of Maryland, and was an intern to the Honorable Rosalyn B. Bell, Sixth Judicial Circuit for the State of Maryland. Mr. Steinhorn received his civil trial experience from his work in the past for both plaintiff and defense personal injury law firms.

After completing his judicial clerkship, Mr. Steinhorn began private practice working as Plaintiff's counsel in a law firm in the District of Columbia that focused its practice solely on plaintiff's personal injury and medical malpractice cases.  Mr. Steinhorn tried many jury trials and court trials on behalf of plaintiffs during this time period.  Mr. Steinhorn also received extensive jury trial experience litigating personal injury cases in the courts of Maryland and the District of Columbia as House Counsel for a major insurance company in the Washington Metro Area.  Mr. Steinhorn currently devotes his practice to plaintiffs' personal injury and medical malpractice cases, and other types of complex civil litigation.
