June 2023 was an especially busy month and unfortunately a deadly one. On June 5, 2023 a single car accident killed a twenty one year old front seat passenger on Johns Hopkins Road near Route 29. On June 21, 2023 a two year old was struck and killed in a parking lot in the 3600 block of Laurel- Ft. Meade Road.
While Laurel's many major roads lead to many car and truck accidents, fatal accidents are a comparative rarity. Two such accidents in one monthis tragic and unusual. Please be careful out there.
