Maryland District Court Car Accident Trial Dates are Being Pushed Out into late 2020 and 2021.

It is no surprise, but trial dates in Maryland car accident cases are being continued into late 2020 and early 2021. The first rash of these postponed trial dates are arriving regularly at Clark and Steinhorn, LLC and represent a substantial delay. If you have a pending case make sure you contact your attorney or go to the Maryland judiciary case search and check out your case's trial date. If it was set for this summer or early fall, it likely has been continued.

To be clear, we are not complaining, as health and safety should come first. It is merely unfortunate that inadequate insurance company offers necessitate lawsuits which usually can be tried in District Court usually within 90 to 120 days and now will require more that  twice that long.

For readers of this blog, this development is no surprise, as it has been discussed in numerous prior covid-19 articles.

The big question, when will Circuit Court Jury trials resume in more substantial car and truck accident injury cases?
