AAA predicts that this holiday weekend will feature near record car and truck travel and with this traffic volume car and truck crashes will abound.
2019 Fourth of July travel was projected to be the highest traffic volume but 2022 allegedly will see more than forty two million drivers take to the roads.
Avoiding involvement in catastrophic car and truck accidents requires an increased patience and probably a willingness to drive when others aren't. The present thought is that July 1st will be the busiest day as drivers embark on long weekend travel. Major metropolitan areas will see considerable congestion.
So to be safe slow down, don't drink and drive and if you can leave early or late, give it a go.
