Everyday Law welcomes the return of Judge Michele Hotten to the airwaves on February 8, 2021. Judge Hotten sits on Maryland's highest court, the Court of Appeals, which is the final word on Maryland law.
The Court of Appeals is Maryland's Supreme Court and Judge Hotten is known for a deeply intellectual and thoughtful analysis occasionally in disagreement with the Court's majority.
It is anticipated that Host, Bob Clark, will focus on some of the more interesting and/or controversial opinions emanating from the Court in 2020, including an opinion changing the standard for acceptance of scientific evidence.
It is also inevitable that discussion will occur concerning the changes the pandemic has brought to the Court and its proceedings.
