Beltway Metrobus Crash Injures Four in Bethesda

A Beltway rush-hour crash between a Metrobus and a car in Bethesda, Maryland sent four people to area hospitals. The accident occurred around 3:45 pm on an I-495 entrance ramp at Old Georgetown Road.

Metro spokepeople suggest that two occupants of the car and two passengers on the bus were injured and evidently one of the victims in the car required extrication. The extent of injuries has not yet been revealed. As one could imagine this did not improve Friday rush-hour traffic conditions.

Montgomery County Police are undoubtedly evaluating the cause of this crash.
