These settlements and verdicts are not an indication or guarantee for future results. Every individual's case is unique. The settlement or verdict value depends on the facts of how the injury took place, what the injury was, the jurisdiction in which the injury took place, the availability and effectiveness of witnesses including expert medical witnesses, and the accuracy and completeness of the witness testimony. As with all things in life, the opinions of friends and family members as to what a case is worth is unlikely to be accurate or helpful when compared with the evaluation of an attorney experienced in handling such matters.

I met Bob Clark 19 years ago when I sustained a serious work injury. It is hard to believe that 19 years later we are still working together on that case. The insurance company has fought us every step of the way and I feel Mr. Clark has been behind me and supported me whenever I have needed him. Quite some time ago Mr. Clark left the law firm where I first met him. At various points in time I was passed on to three different lawyers none of whom appeared to either understand or care about my case. I contacted Mr. Clark in frustration and he kindly agreed to get involved in my case again.

Until you have been badly hurt it is hard to understand how important your relationship with your lawyer is. I have had six major back surgeries and my family would be in a great deal of trouble but for Mr. Clark's dedicated and compassionate representation.
When our teenaged daughter was severely injured in a car crash, we asked around to find who would be the best attorney to handle her claim. Mr. Clark's name came up immediately and when we contacted him he drove out to our family farm and met with us. Because of the seriousness of the injuries it took our daughter a long time to recover and throughout the process we had many questions for Mr. Clark which he always patiently answered. He also spoke routinely to our daughter's doctors in order to understand her injuries. Ultimately, when it came time to settle the case Mr. Clark investigated the possibility that our daughter could have received an athletic scholarship to college. He met with several area college coaches to determine whether they would support the fact that our daughter would have received an athletic scholarship. He used this information to obtain additional money for our daughter over and above her medical expenses, and pain and suffering. Mr. Clark met with us at our family home on several occasions and I would unhesitatingly recommend his excellent representation.
Some years ago I was involved in a car accident where I was injured. I did not know any lawyers and so I called one of the ones who advertised on television. I was not able to reach him but his assistant assured me that I would hear from him and sent me some paperwork to sign so they could represent me. That firm represented me for 2 ½ years and during that time I never met my lawyer and was only able to speak to him once after I insisted that I would take my case elsewhere if he did not speak to me. As my case approached its three year anniversary I was informed by the lawyer that he could not get me a settlement and that he could not file a lawsuit in the District of Columbia because he was not admitted to practice there. Fortunately, I found Mr. Clark. As soon as I called him he set up an appointment for the next day. He met with me, discussed my case in detailed and filed a lawsuit on my behalf. Three months later the case had been settled and I received a good recovery. Since that time my daughter and my grandchildren have all worked with Mr. Clark on cases and we have all found him to be friendly, respectful, responsive and highly successful. I can't imagine that there is a better attorney around for any kind of injury case.
Our family first met Mr. Clark back in 1996 when my husband was involved in a serious collision between two tractor trailers. Because my husband was working at the time of the collision, Mr. Clark helped us pursue all the benefits available under a Maryland Workers Compensation claim and more importantly filed a lawsuit against the driver of the other truck. On the first day of trial the insurance company offered $100,000.00 to settle the case. Because of a Workers Compensation lien, we needed another $10,000.00 to get the case worked out in a satisfactory manner. The insurance company refused and three days later Mr. Clark obtained a verdict of $750,000.00.

Several years later our son was involved in a serious ATV accident. We contacted Mr. Clark's office and were advised that he was on vacation in London. We spoke to his partner Mr. Steinhorn who answered all of our questions and gave us a good deal of practical advice. We were very surprised when the very next morning Mr. Clark was on the phone calling from London. Mr. Clark came to our home and met with us and went to the scene of the ATV collision. The insurance company was not offering any money to settle the case and again we were obliged to file a lawsuit. The case came up for trial and again Mr. Clark won. The insurance company appealed the case which was later settled for $145,000.00.

Mr. Clark has been to our home on numerous occasions to meet with us and has always been responsive to our telephone calls. I can't imagine what the result would have been if would have made the mistake of choosing a different lawyer.
