Queen Anne's County Crash Kills Two.

August came in with a deadly bang on Sunday, as two men were ejected from the BMW in which they were passengers and died in Stevensville, Maryland. The Queen Anne's County crash took place on Route 8 around eight in the morning, near the intersection with Great Neck Road.

Victor Smith of Annapolis was reportedly driving North when he lost control of his car and crossed double yellow lines striking a car driven by Agnes Phelps of Stevensville, who had pulled off the traveled roadway onto the shoulder to avoid the impending crash.

Both Ms. Phelps and Mr. Smith were taken to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center by helicopter and were treated for collision-related injuries.
