A Maryland attorney explains a nursing home abuse case

Nursing home abuse cases are some the saddest that we deal with. We’ve seen severe bed sore cases. We have seen cases where patients did not receive their medication or were given the wrong medication. A few years ago, Bob Clark had a case where a blind woman was moved to a room next to a flight of stairs where the door was routinely left open. Predictably, she fell down the stairs. This case nearly went to trial and it took vigorous litigation to get a fair outcome for the victim and her family. Unfortunately, this woman did not live to see the end of the case but the family knew that justice had been served.
