Three occupants of an Amish horse-drawn buggy traveling through an intersection in Maryland were injured, one fatally, when a pickup truck entered an intersection and crashed into the buggy.  A twelve year old girl in the buggy died from her injuries.

According to a representative from the St. Mary's County Sheriff's office, the buggy entered the intersection on a green light, but was still in the intersection when the light turned red.  The crash is under investigation, and the driver of the pickup truck has not been charged.
