An early morning Silver Spring crash between a Ride-On bus and a Kentucky Fried Chicken restaurant has perplexed authorities. The incident took place around 7:30am Friday May 20, 2011 at the Glenmont Metro Station.

Witnesses report that the driver, 54-year-old Andrew Kamara, crossed Southbound Gergia Avenue went over the median and across Northbound Georgia Avenue before striking the KFC building. Fortunately the KFC was closed at the time.

Miraculously reports are that only the driver and a passenger were injured. Some speculation exists that the driver may have had a medical problem of some sort that contributed to the incident taking place.
