Prince Georges County Beltway Crash Kills Disabled Vehicle Driver

A disabled vehicle on the Beltway in Prince Georges County became a deathtrap Saturday night. The crash took place near Landover Road in Landover, Maryland around midnight on Saturday January 22, 2011.

The driver of the disabled car emerged from it in the third Southbound lane of I-495 and was killed when a car struck his vehicle. His passenger had not merged but was seriously injured and is in an area hospital.
