N.T.S.B. to Meet July 27, 2010 on Fort Totten Metro Crash Cause

The long awaited National Transportation Safety Board meeting and report concerning the deadly Fort Totten Metro crash will take place on July 27, 2010 commencing at 9:30 am.

The meeting will reveal NTSB conclusions regarding the probable cause of the crash and safety recommendations to avoid similar such catastrophes. While overall Maryland and the District of Columbia have very safe transportation systems the sheer number of people using them and the nature of the buses and trains utilized results in catastrophic injuries on a fairly routine basis.
