The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration issued another "imminent hazard" shutdown order for a Maryland trucking company, Clock Transport LLC. This is the second such shutdown in a week. The focus of both shutdowns are companies established by Mark David Gunther, Jr. who gained infamy for a previous commercial trucking operation which was involved in a deadly Beltway crash, which produced a 13 million dollar verdict.

The verdict for a brain damaged victim of an I-495 crash was ultimately discharged in bankruptcy although the company founder was jailed for 30 months thereafter. http://www.maryland-law.com/blog/fmcsa-shuts-down-maryland-commercial-trucking-firm-as-public-hazard.cfm

The FMCSA issued a previous order for Gunthers Transport which was applicable to efforts to circumvent it by creating related companies. The allegation is that Clock operated out of the same location as Gunthers Transport. http://www.baltimoresun.com/news/maryland/bs-md-clock-transport-shut-20111125,0,7411455.story
