A Frederick County Driver pled guilty to vehicular homicide as a result of a deadly crash last August. Jose Miguel Izaguirre Calderon had ironically volunteered to drive home some bar patrons who had been abandoneed by their designated driver.

The crash on Eastbound I-70 near Mt. Tabor Road ejected Roberto Monarca, killing him after he was thrown more than 70 feet from the vehicle. Mr. Calderon had previously been in trouble in Maryland for drinking and driving having received a disposition of probation before judgement a mere 4 months before this fatal crash.
