A New Jersey man ended up on CSX rail tracks in his car on Monday and sustained severe injuries, resulting in his transfer to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore, Maryland.

David Callan of Stratford, New Jersey was driving on a private road near East Baldwin Road in Frederick County, Maryland when he ended up on the CSX freight rail tracks where his car was struck in the rear. 

The crash near New Market has left Mr. Callan in critical condition.
