Area roadways proved deadly yesterday, as crashes on the Baltimore-Washington Parkway and the Beltway took two lives and injured a bevy of others.

The first crash took place near the College Park interchange on I-495 and involved three vehicles, two of which were on  the left shoulder involved in changing a tire. http://www.maryland-law.com/blog/deadly-i-495-crash-shuts-down-beltway-outer-loop.cfm

The second crash took place in the Laurel area on the Baltimore-Washington Parkway near Route 197 around 10:15 pm. A single vehicle crash took place when a car left the roadway while going Northbound. Reportedly 4 passengers were trapped in the vehicle after the accident and had to be extricated by authorities.
