West River Boat Crash sends Victim to Shock Trauma

A boat crash on the West River in Anne Arundel County, Maryland sent a man to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center on Friday afternoon.

The collision took place around five in the afternoon and a witness to the crash used quick thinking in not only notifying authorities of the incident but also in holding the victim by his boat until rescue came.

A Coast Guard crew was able to stabilize the victim on board their vessel until he could be transported to Baltimore by helicopter . http://www.maryland-law.com/blog/family-of-boating-hit-and-run-victim-offer-reward.cfm
