Upper Marlboro Man Killed in 301 Crash

An unidentified 76-year-old Upper Marlboro, Maryland man was killed on June 1, 2010 on Route 301 near Cheltenham, Maryland.

The deceased was apparently attempting to make a u-turn on Route 301 when his van was struck by another car. He evidently had two other passengers in his vehicle who were injured and treated at an area hospital.

The Prince Georges County resident was struck near Frank Tippett Road and the Maryland State Police  assert that he failed to yield to oncoming traffic.
