National Transportation Safety Board Sets Hearing on Fort Totten Metro Crash

Mark your calendars. February 23 and 24th, 2010 are the dates for the National Transportation Safety Board's public hearing on their investigation of the June 22nd, 2009 Fort Totten Metro crash.

The hearings ostensible purpose is gathering "additional factual information for the investigation." Wow, one would have thought they had all the information they required but there you go.

Witnesses will testify about a variety of topics including the adequacy of Metro's efforts to address safety issues,  and the adequacy of state and federal oversight.

For a list of witnesses and webcast information check in at: http://ntsb.gov/Pressrel/2009/091112.html
