Mother of Three Killed by Drugged Driver
A mother of three was killed Tuesday evening when a Forrestville man, high on PCP, and, traveling at twice the speed limit, jumped a curb and struck the woman as she was waiting for a bus to go to work, according to Court documents filed Wednesday. Mary Jones, 50 years old, was waiting at a bus stop on Southern Avenue when the driver, Glendale S. Ogdurn, drove off the road, over the curb, and directly into Ms. Jones. According to witnesses, Ogdurn never slowed down as he jumped the curb and struck Ms. Jones. Ogdurn has been charged with negligent homicide.
