A tractor trailer loaded with Sam Adams beer collided with a car and overturned on I-495 a little before five this morning, killing the tractor trailer's driver. The incident closed down the inner loop of the Beltway and created rush hour chaos.

The collision took place on the Inner Loop of I-495 between the exit for Old Georgetown Road and I-270 North. The extent of the car driver's injuries are yet unreported other than to suggest that they were critically injured.

The Maryland Department of Transportation suggested drivers use the Woodrow Wilson Bridge rather than travel through the crash area for drivers traveling between Maryland and Virginia.

It's hilarious! Do not drive if you were drunk and do not text or call when you are driving. That's the best thing you can do to avoid accidents.
