The family of a man who was the victim of a boating hit and run are offering a rewrd for information on the incident.

Family of Boating Hit and Run Victim Offer Reward

Earlier this month we reported on a boating hit and run that took place in the Chesapeake Bay near the Thomas Point Shoal Lighthouse, which injured a Virginia man. http://www.maryland-law.com/blog/on-the-lookout-for-hit-and-run-boats-in-maryland-waters.cfm

The victim's family are offering a $5,000.00 reward for information as to the culprit. Mark Gentile of Mt. Jackson, Virginia sustained severe injuries and is in for an extended stay at a rehabilitation facility.

The Maryland Natural Resources Police are on the lookout for a champagne and white colored speedboat which struck Mr. Gentile while he swam by his sailboat. The donzi-style speedboat was occupied by a white male and white female. To report pertinent information go to:
