Columbia, Maryland Teen Recuperating in Aftermath of Crash

A Columbia, Maryland teen was struck while attempting to cross Little Patuxent Parkway around 7pm on Sunday January 3rd, 2010. The pedestrian is convalescing at the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center.

Howard County Maryland Police report that the collision between the pedestrian and a Mitsubishi Eclipse took place on Little Patuxent Parkway between Columbia and Vantage Point Roads.

The teen was reportedly wearing dark clothing and was not crossing either in a crosswalk or at an intersection.
