A bus accident on Washington Boulevard in Elkridge, Maryland sent more than a dozen people to Howard County General Hospital and other local hospitals this morning, and tied up traffic on Washington Boulevard for a brief period of time.  According to reporting in the Laurel Patch, a medical bus was sent to the scene to provide emergency medical services to the injured passengers.

Details as to how the bus crash happened are not yet available. The injuries have been reported as minor, although as many as thirteen people were transported to hospitals in the Washington and Baltimore area.
